Who we are
SOS Biotech is a Dominican–Spanish blue biotechnology company upcycling sargassum and other invasive seaweed into sustainable, market-ready products. Building on the operational expertise of SOS Carbon, we develop seaweed-based solutions for agriculture, soil regeneration, and industrial applications, operating across the Caribbean, North America and Europe. Our work brings together applied science, biorefinery processes, and deep local knowledge to turn an environmental challenge into functional, traceable raw materials. From sargassum collection to final product formulation, we oversee the entire value chain.
